Rola Yasmine is a registered nurse and researcher living in Beirut, working on sexual politics, gender and reproductive justice, and movement building. Rola is the Co-Founder and ED of a non-profit called The A Project working on advancing a queer feminist political discourse around SRHR, sexuality politics, and reproductive justice while seeking alternatives to counteract medical patriarchy.

Jade Maina is a gender and women’s rights activist. She is currently the Executive Director of Trust for Indigenous Culture and Health (TICAH) based in Nairobi, Kenya and a Co-cordinator of the MAMA Network (Mobilising Activists Around Medical Abortion Across Sub-Saharan Africa).

Dr Fiona Bloomer is a Senior Lecturer in Social Policy at Ulster University (Northern Ireland/ UK).  Her area of research centres on abortion policy.  Fiona has attended all the previous ARJC (Canada, South Africa) and hosted the 2016 in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Charity L. Woods Barnes is the Founder of the Reproductive Justice Resilience Project (RJRP), a national reproductive justice organization dedicated to making the love, healing, self-care, and resiliency of BIPOC women a priority.  She is a founder and former first President & CEO of Interfaith Voices for Reproductive Justice (IVRJ) which centers interfaith and progressive voices working to create transformative theological narratives that center the moral authority of Black women and girls. 

Catriona Ida Macleod is Distinguished Professor of Psychology and SARChI Chair of Critical Studies in Sexualities and Reproduction at Rhodes University, South Africa. She is editor-in-chief of Feminism & Psychology.
